Christine (Licensed Veterinary Technician)
has been an employee since June 2002. Christine has
three dogs: Lady Gwenivere, a Keeshond, and Zariel and Tyler, which are shepherd mixes (who are
littermates to Helen Denys' three dogs, TIllie, Rocco,
and Ralphie Doyle), as well as a three legged Norwegian
Forest Cat named Hop-a-long Cassidy. Christine enjoys
working at Jefferson Veterinary Center because she feels
it's a unique environment where one can learn different
techniques than at the emergency clinic where she also
is employed. "When I started working at Jefferson
Veterinary Center, I was just looking for a second job,
but what I found was another home. My co-workers/friends
make it a wonderful environment to work in." |

Debbie (Receptionist)
Debbie is a working mom who takes time away from her
thirteen and nine year old daughters and husband to take
care of our clients at JVC. She has been one of
the delightful voices and friendly faces at the front
desk since April, 2007. She enjoys the diversity
of clientele here and the adventures that each day
holds. |
 |
Anneliese (Veterinary Assistant) started
working at JVC in June 2005 after finishing high school.
She loves working here because she has a soft spot for
animals, as well as being around people who reflect the
same towards our "furry little friends." Her animal
loving roots began by growing up in a family surrounded
by a variety of pets including different breeds of dogs,
birds, and even horses. She adopted a stray from JVC not
too long ago, a very cute puppy named Freckles. She also
acquired a lovely dog by the name of Tulla, a red
Doberman Pinscher. She has
dreamed of working with animals since she was a child
and plans on continuing her education in the field of
veterinary science. |
 |
Tamra (Veterinary Assistant):
Tamra has been employed here since May of 2007.
She is excited to be working with animals and hopes to
someday be a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
"I am earning invaluable experience working at JVC that
will benefit me and my career goals!" Currently, Tamra
is pursuing a degree in pre-veterinary medicine at Wayne
State University and spends her spare time with her
family companion, Bruin. Bruin is a black
Labrador/Retriever mix and is seven years old. |
 |
Frances (Veterinary
Assistant) started working at Jefferson Veterinary
Center in April 2008. She likes working here because she
feels like she can make a difference in the animals
lives. She has loved animals from a young age and would
bring home sick and injured animals as a child. Her
orange tabby cat, Cricket, allows her to live with him;
she also has an Appaloosa horse named, Mr. Chips. When
she is not trying to tame and bring home feral cats, you
can find her in the barn hanging out with her horse. |
 |
Randy (Veterinary Assistant, Handyman, Janitor,
Security Guard, Bodyguard, and friend of animals)
Randy is a retired Master Sargent from the United States
Air Force. After that career, he decided to pursue
what he really loved, which is working with animals.
He shares his talents with Jefferson Veterinary Center
and his family and pets--Dolomite(pictured on home page
with Dr. Schacht), Darla(an exuberant mix), and cats,
Little Girl, Batman and Punky. |
